G'day John.
Yes it's been a while. That was going back to 2006! How time flies.
I've been on a bit of a detecting sabbatical. Been getting harmonica lessons the last few years. Just bought a 400cc scooter and taking up a paragliding course in mid October. Taking that up plus the scooter will give me the capacity to get out of Dubbo and into some places that will be productive for detecting; so hopefully you'll see me starting to post about some half decent hunts.
Glad to see that you are still getting out and enjoying your detecting. John B is still prolific as usual. I've noticed a change in who's coming onto this forum. (The Garrett section is my favourite of this forum. The only other forum that is as close to this in comradely, is an Aussie forum in which I have gotten out with a few of them for a hunt.)
Keep the posts coming, and I'll get out with the GTI a bit more often and put up the odd post. Nearly packed the detector with me yesterday when I popped over to Mudgee, which has a few good hunting spots.
Mick Evans.
