I am thinking of buying one with only one cup for one ear - come rattlesnake season - just thinking.
I used my Cortes last week with 5.75 coil - all metal mode of course - in a heavy nail / junk infested area. I actually bought it because of the post's on this forum about the sum mode caught my interest. I find I usually don't look at the TID most of the time, and actually forget about the sum mode which is why I bought it in the first place. It sure was talking an awful lot - but I listen to it and a few good fines was the result.
