So the difference between the vx7 and 9 is 60 bucks.... if you had the 7 and wanted to upgrade it to make it a 9 will garrett give you one free update ( maybe ) or how much will you be charged. ?? OR, if you already have the 9 and updates become available are they free or do you pay a (minimal) fee ? How does this work ?

Hey.....I struggle with computers and cell phones. I was still using a slide rule in grade 10. I got my first battery operated 4 function calculator in grade 11. It cost $49.00. And we were not allowed to use it for exams.

A slide rule !! Damm you had the hi-tech stuff.. I used a abacus. Now I just slide the pretty colored beads back and forth..
