Am I seeing a cow and the outline of TX partially?

Really nice find from a very old manufacturer of Belts and Buckles, it seems they sold out to Tandy Corporation around 73-74 who started out in leather goods also . Nice save.

I just want to thank everybody for their input, I'm finding it all very interesting.
I'm fairly new to metal detecting and so far over here in eastern New Mexico I haven't found a lot of coins yet, but lots of interesting relics, like that buckle.
Any more information on it would be appreciated.

Do some googling and there are tidbits about Stephen Rae Hickok who founded the company around 1909 in Rochester NY. Also mentions ha was a great grand nephew of Wild Bill Hickok. The company was well established and appears to have an address at the Empire State Building at one point. They made sterling and gold plated buckles that are sought after by collectors. I think you found quite a gem myself, wish it had been me. Again congratulations on your find.

New Mexico.
Have you thought about researching wagon and stagecoach trails ?
Could be interesting detecting.
Even ghost towns.

I have a rancher friend that has a couple of stagecoach stops on his property, he offered to show me where they're at, just haven't gotten it done yet. Been to a couple of ghost towns.

Man that'll be Awesome.
Wish I lived out that way.
Research lost loot and treasure. Never know.

From the design of the plane maybe late 1920's up to the early 1930's. When I was in the Navy I flew a twin Beech made in 1939 that looked a lot more modern. The Navy designation was SNB but we named it Slow Navy Bomber. It was definitely slow and definitely not a bomber. What a Great find!! After thought- I was NOT flying airplanes in 1939.
