I love the big coil. I use it for everything. I have the sniper coil for real heavy trash. I found the the big coil can pick out good targets in almost any area except real heavy trash. You just have to listen for good tones and when you hear a good tone take your time and go over the area with small slow sweeps. I just got an E-Trac and I think the Ace with the big coil is almost as good.

hope to take delivery of my 250 tomorrow (friday) aussie time first place ill go is a local park where they hold a lot of festivals through out the year. have done well in the past at this location with a coin detector

Good for you! I just checked and mine hasn't even shipped yet! But, it's only 7 degrees outside here in upstate NY so I can't do much anyway. I think I will order the bigger and smaller coils for mine too. Happy New Year to ya and happy hunting!
