Ace 250 needs help with super sniper coil

I used the 4.5" Ace Super Sniper coil today for the first time with my Ace 250. I used the coin mode with sensitivity at level 4. I got a lot, and I mean a whole lot of false non-repeatable signals. I use the stock 6.5"x9" stock coil on the same setting and get very few non-repeatable signals.
Also, I went to a playground and found I couldn't get much closer to the steel posts with the sniper coil than I can with the stock coil.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Im still learning to use mine too... go SLOW...
youll be amazed with what youll find ... try
tipping the coil so its on an angle when your near
posts etc .. it takes a little bit of trial and error
( at least for me it did ) but once it starts working

I don't have that problem with the Sniper coil. Are you sweeping low and level without bumping the ground? Coil connector tight? Is you coil cable ran strait up the shaft and fastened securely so it doesn't move? I will run full blast away from the posts and clearings. I'll drop the sens to 2 and run the coil next to the poles. You have to do slow. Then as I get away from the poles I keep increasing the sens until I'm about 10 inches from them. I dig it all but iron in the tot lots and sand.
