ace 250 in Arizona

You should subscribe to Garretts News Letter. Every now and then you find someone
who finds a gold nugget but they are usually good size ones. Most gold will be small and the Ace won't pick it up.
If you want to prospect get the Scorpian or go to Whites and get a GMT or GMZ. But the Scorpian ought to do the trick
from what I've been hearing and its not that expensive.

It really depends upon what part of AZ that you're in.:wiggle:From my experience(and I would never use the Ace for nugget shootin')the ground around Quartzsite isn't too highly mineralized, so the Ace will behave better there. However, the area is known for producing smaller nuggets and the Ace isn't likely to pick them up. Then again, there have been some larger nuggets discovered in the area(extremely rare!). Up around the Rich Hill/Stanton area the ground is alot hotter(more heavily mineralized)and will drive the Ace crazy. That area is known for having larger nuggets.
In a nut shell, try it out. Good luck. If you're serious about finding gold nuggets, sell the Ace and buy a Scorpion.:detecting:Happy Hunting!:)
