Jim the AT-Gold is a awesome machine it opens up sites that has a lot of iron with it's separating abilities. In these type of places I use disc1 with iron disc set around 28-31 it is very similar to running a Pro in pro mode zero. In less iron infested sites like fields & woods hunting I run all-metal and use the 8.5x11" DD coil for extra coverage and depth. I had both AT'S and I was always grabbing the Gold for every hunt and I sold the Pro to keep it from setting in the closet. I Love the AT-Gold and couldn't imagine not having it.
