Everybody has those times when the beaches are sanded in and it feels like they will never see the gleam of gold in the bottom of the scoop again. Hang in there, keep swinging and the tide will turn, bringing gold your way.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Cheers,

BDA:cool:

lmao...nice gesture....:clapping::detecting:
but your right..keep swinging..

Doing research...organizing finds..I just put together a book of Indian Head penny's, V-Nickles and Buffalo Nickles found after the last storms. I know the beach coins do not have much value but now they are all in a book to share when friends and family come by. I use a 3 ring binder with the coin holders you staple shut..Alot of the little religious medals also fit in these holders. mark the finds with date found ect.. it's great fun helps pass the time...and gives you a spot to go to to look at loot to keep you motivated for the next hunt! Also research some new places to hunt! find those older out of the way beaches others have forgotten about!

The picture reminds me of what I look like when my wife is after me. The only difference is she starts at the rear and chews!!!!!

:thumbup: Good thought. Applies even more to those of us who haven't even seen any gold in the bottom of our scoops at all YET! Still trying to figure out the musical meanings of the Minelab Orchestra - do you dig it to the bass / do you dig it to pipes / do you dig it when it blips or swing it when it honks to the tonks and tinks/ don't blink or you'll miss it / double time, double chime, dig it dig it dig it.

The secret to the Minelab Orchestra is to get it to sing to you. The sopranos sing about silver and the baritones sing about gold. The bass sings about stainless steel and fine gold rings. The altos are hard to pin down but they sing of clad mainly.

:thumbup: bdahunter, I think your machine is probably playing Carmen to you, I've got mine stuck on the Threepenny Opera - but I take your points, thanks. As usual, it's the conductor that needs more training. And before I run the musical metaphor completely into the dunny, the very best of good luck in Florida. I've seen pictures of some incredible things that have turned up on the beaches there. Just the thought of what could pass under the coil.... Have a great time.
