A nice day out....

Hey Everyone! I just came in from a very long hunt today and thought I would post some pictures of the days finds. I did about 6 hours of detecting todays and came away with a 18.2 gram 14k mens bracelet, an unmarked but suspected 8.1 gram14k mens signet ring, a 4.1 gram 925 ring with stones, and a 25.6 925 (highly tarnished) necklace. I also dug around $5.00 in change and the usual assorted gobbledy-gook that goes with it all...bullets casings, bottle caps, a pull tabs. It was a beautiful day with a fantastic low. For those keeping score I used an Excal in AM and most of my finds were knee to hip deep. Hope you enjoy the photos and good hunting to all!

Very Nice Dig, you guys better clean the place up.............SD is coming to town......................Joe

NICE! I have been on return to zilch in the findings area, glad to see you had a very good day. Hope it continues for you for a while. As you say ride it while it is coming.

nice job dude. I just want to say first of all i really enjoy reading your posts. And second, how deep in the surf did u attempt to go?

Very nice finds. WOW six hours. Most I have lasted is 3. Other than one ring my finds have been limited to coins and junk.

Wow! That would make up for a lot of lousy hunts. Congrats! I need one of those days. HH!

Thanks Prodigy! That's awfully nice of you to say. To answer your question I hunt usually from the wetsand all the way up to my neck. In reality the bottom is what you should be
watching. Hard sand with rock and shell exposed is the ticket. That being said on a low I usually find that layer in calf to hip deep, but then it will vary from area to area. Good hunting!
