A new scoop for next season

Better start exercising the knees so you don't have a blow out. There will be a lot of getting up and down with that thing.

Hi Goodmore,
I have one and it is tied with another scoop for 1st place! Works great in the dry or in the water. It is excellent in gravel, sand, clay mix. Have fun! By the way it is not as heavy as some of the bruiser scoops that are out there! And the wood handle floats!

Best regards,
Steve

wow i like it,id like to try one of those....where do i get one??:detecting::clapping:

HEY MAX!

I either haven't had the time or the money to get back down there. This coming summer will be 3 seasons, I think. My oldest still lives down there. He's been up here to visit a few times. I miss you guys!!!!! I really do need to come back down and catch up with everyone. We're being bought out at work. The staff is staying but our vacation time doesn't carry. It's going to take me a while to build back up.

I've gone to the Gulf the past 2 years. My 2nd oldest son was there up until July this year.

I bought an Etrac and have been cleaning up this fall. Good to hear from you!!!

looks like a great scoop especially when recovering micro jewelry or stud earings....i could have used that a month ago while detecting partially drained lake.. found lots of micro jewelry but had to separate by hand because scoop holes were too big.... it was still worth it though......

In April and added the 11" pro coil....did the same as u....best summer for sometime for me.

I just sold it again and waterproofed my new se pro

All three are killers

Come back for a visit

Good luck

Hi all, I've just bought one as well, mainly for its large scooping ability but also to stop earrings from falling through.
It's being sold on Ebay for $179 plus $10 postage in USA.

All is not lost!

I like mine, works extremely well and I have the orig. version with the larger holes.
My next scoop will be the newer version.

I did do several quick mods to mine that make it 100% better in use.
See mods: http://treasurelinx.com/mods.html

The wooden post hole digger pole I used was square but the edges were nasty on your hands and fingers.
So I took a hand plane and rounded off the edges.

The only other mod I thought of was to make a wider foot pad, a tad small for my big feet when wearing waders.

How do you attach the wooden handle to the scoop? I see the square fit, but do you drill holes so that the pole does not slip out of the fit? Also, what is the 3 holes on the top of the scoop used for? To attach to the wooden handle? Their website does not address these issues. Thanks. Marty
