A Lil' Labor of Love

I posted back a short while back that we had lost our beloved "Lacy Grace", our 8 year old Austrailian Shepherd. We are still heartbroken at her sudden illness and passing. I am now working on fixing her grave to make it more appealing. I made a poor attempt to make her a memorial for her grave. She deserves so much better, but it was made with Love. Here is a Pic. of it as it's in the final stage of drying. I hope to be done with everything in the very near future. Always remember: They are Not Pets, but Family.

Yes sir, they sincerely do. We are supposed to get another pup at the end of April. Not to replace Lacy. No way in the world we could ever replace or forget her. You can only attempt to fill a huge void left in your heart. Luna, our other little Lassie, is 5 years old. Lacy had been with us for 5 years when we brought Luna home from the farm. They were both best friends and were together every day. It's heartbreaking to watch Luna when we are outside. She seems lost, not knowing what to do. She doesn't want to run or play unless she's encouraged to do so. The new pup I'm sure will lift Luna's spirits. This time around Luna will be the big Sis. Thanks for the kind words. Semper Fi, and have a great weekend.
