Washington stayed in my town along with Lafayette’s troops!! Right on the town green would kill to hunt the house where Washington stayed built in 1700
I grew up in this town so I have lots of decent spots to try..

I would say there's a lot of places in that area you could get on. Doesn't hurt to ask. All it takes is one yes! Good luck
