A Few Questions About Deus 2

Was wondering if you guys could help, what type and how many batteries are in the deus 2, do they discharge during use at equal rates based on percentage of remaining run time or is it like the coil will die out twice as fast as remote?...and can you hunt a full day on a single charge?...I am not familiar with Deus 2 as it is a learning curve for me, I am considering purchasing one and are trying decide if the Deus 2 and I are good fit ....Thanks to all!

I am not sure what type the batteries are or how many cells they have.

They are in the unit itself....like a cell phone.

However unlike some of the other units out there today.....if you can tinker with stuff you can replace the battery on your own if you can operate a screw driver.

Also you can send it in and xp will do it for you as an authorized repair if something happens under warranty.

I do know that it will out hunt you before the batteries go down

So that being said...some of it has to do with the programs you choose as well.

So a higher freq based program will not use as much mah as a lower freq based program.

I know some others will chime in here and give some better input.

But I think since you are looking to get an xp machine you should be pretty happy with it.

Which unit are you using currently?

Hello BT73, I have been running the 1st gen Makro Racer with NEL Sharpshooter coil since 2016, I used that thing literally until it's demise lol....late one afternoon it powered itself down a few times on its own over the course of a half hour or so and finally wouldn't start back up and that was it.....dead as a hammer,,....I tried a few things to be sure it wasn't a simple issue but no joy. So it's time for an equip upgrade, was considering the legend or EQX 800 but really don't like the flutey sounding audio they make,. So far the Deus 2 and/or the D2lite has my attention for sure. Also thank you for the response/info.👍

I had one of those. I found it to be a nice little unit....easy to set up and good performance.

To be honest....I am not a big fan of the flute like tones of the equinox either.

Plus it just is not built to withstand regular dependable use.

I think you would find the deus to be more comfortable to swing.....a little intimidating at first to set up for custom programs but there are enough factory preset programs to get you started good.

I have been watching a few tutorials on the D2 about reactivity, silencer etc. to get a good understanding so I am not overwhelmed so much allowing me to get up to speed a little easier...I agree the Racer was a great machine that punched reasonably above it's weight, ....I was wanting to move on from it anyway because 5yrs or so had been plenty time for new tech to provide improvement in this awesome hobby. I will certainly build off of the factory presets.
