A Couple of Finds

Hi All,

Haven't been contributing much to this forum but had a small window of opportunity last night, my day job and this heat is putting a severe crimp on hunting. I visited a small local park that I have hunted before and really haven't found much to speak of, but anyway after getting my Vision/V3 settled down from all the EMI, I was able to make a couple of interesting finds between the sidewalk and street despite the rock hard ground and sweltering heat. A pendant and a dropped .45 cal slug. I was hoping for some older silver, but this beats pull tabs and bottle caps, but found some of those too! Anyway hope everyone is able to stay cool and that we all can get some relief from this heat!

Dig Deep and Prosper,

Nice finds. We braved the heat and made some interesting finds and silver. My most interesting find was a 1905 silver Shilling. Who would have guessed in Illinois. The weather does suck.

You got that right about the weather. I heard a report on the radio that here in Oklahoma they're predicting we won't get any signficant rainfall until September. We have been teased quite a bit with clouds building up then they fall apart.
