I had some running around to do in town today so the CZ-21 got to come along for the ride and I stopped at Elbow Beach on the way home for a little wet sanding. The 2nd target was a real shocker - as I washed the sand away and saw that the bottom of the scoop was full of gold.
Unfortunately, the watch turned out to be gold plated not solid but it sure was pretty gold plating.
I also pulled 2 silver rings out of the wet sand and they both have that grey lacquer on them that indicates that they have been in the briny for a long time.

After a few hours of working the wet sand I headed for home, changed into the wetsuit and then headed back down to the beach but this time to Horseshoe Bay. The water was freezing but I knew that the sand had been stirred up by the high winds we have been experiencing lately so into the cooler I went. In the first half hour I hit another silver ring with the makers mark INKRAZING as well as a mood ring. Around that time my treasurehunting mate Lee arrived and I retreated to the beach to warm up a bit while Lee had a go at Davey Jones.
After warming up for a bit I jumped back into the briny and promptly hit on the heaviest silver ring I have found in a long time (left side of pic below), this puppy is huge and would make an excellent knuckle buster.

The next target after the heavy silver ring was a low, faint signal and it sounded good enough for me to fight to get this one from way down deep.

A heavy lady's band, 14k yellow gold with 9 diamonds totalling .36 carats. I managed to hunt for another half hour before the sun went away and the cold really started to bite, so I called it a very good day and pointed the jeep for home.
