$750 for a Excal 1000 -- good deal or not?

Have a buddy selling a Excalibur 1000. He wants $750.

Is this a good deal or not?

just don't want to spend $750 on a machine I can get for less.

well, i know of an excal II thats $900.00 you see them once in a while for around $600.00 but you better be the first to see it!!!!! i got mine for $645.00. on e-bay they usually go for about $850.00
i would rather buy from a trusted buddy than take a chance on buying from a stranger!!! talk him down to 700.00

MAP price on an Excalibur II 1000 is 1198.95 with free shipping and usually a free finds pouch or digger and padded carry case and 1 year warranty. 750 is probably the max it is worth if it is an Excal 1000, if it is an Excalibur II 1000 you better buy it tonight.
