705 incoming

Another few days watching any and all 705 videos. Also reading any and all post by Randy and Old Longhair. Studying hard!

Still a great detector. I still have mine. My coils of choice are the 18.75 khz 10" elliptical and 6" DDs. I never use discrimination. That way I know exactly how much rubbish I'm amongst and when to slow right down and pick through it. Love seeing repeatable tones and solid numbers not jumping. But a tone that never changes from one direction and number that doesn't change in the same direction as that tone, regardless of what the other direction does, ill check that out every time. Often a goody sitting next to junk.

I swung a 705 for a year or so. It's a good machine and I think you will be pleased with it. I really liked the high frequency elliptical coil. It was my favorite.
