6 week update

MrGee

New member
Wel, I've had my Ace 250 for about six weeks now. Discounting a few days when it rained and a couple when it snowed, call it five weeks of detecting and I've been out for at least a few minutes every day. The score as of yesterday:

512 coins for a total of $27.39. That's not counting a Jamaican 20 dollar coin (which is worth something like 22 cents) and an oriental coin that is a 10 something. Everythig else is in ????. No idea where it's from.

Six rings. Two are small plain gold bands, the others are Junky kids rings.

8 hot wheels, including a 1982 T-roof Firebird.

3 necklaces,One nice heavy silver chain and two cheapies

2 bracelets, one silver and one a cheapie kids bracelet.

LOts of trash and some odds and ends, buckles, shell casings, several charms (or pendants without a chain), various buttons, rivits and a dog tag (from a real dog-not the other kind)

Now the next thing everyone is gonna say is 'where are the pictures?' Well, I can't find the cable that connects my digital camera to the computer. As soon as I locate it, I try to post a few photos. Since i started back to work part time a couple of weeks age, my pinpointer is getting a lot closer. Couple more weeks. Gotta get out and swing that machine now. Lovely day with rain scheduled for the next three days.

Having a cable is one way of doing it. Do you have a place on your computer to put in
the camera's Sim card? If you do, then all you need to is go to computer, click
on Sim card and it will show your pictures. You can save you picture/s to desk top and
edit them by resizing and then post on the forum. I never use a cable or any of the picture soft ware
that came with my little camera.

Just got a new computer not long ago and forgot about the sim slots. Duhhhh. boy do I feel dumb!! Thanks for reminding me of that.

MrGee

Sounds like you're doing okay. Hurry up and get that camera hooked up so we cansee some pics. Too bad you don't have a scanner. Much cheaper than a camera to boot.

Two gold rings in 6 weeks? I'm on such a huge slump that I was thinking this morning I'll be satisfied to find just one decent gold ring this year. You're doing great. Pics, we want pics.

You must have some prime hunting grounds! Good luck in the future "not that you need it"
