Well I for one APPRECIATED the vid and the following discussion? I think we all appreciate any discussion, debate, etc. about our machines and accessories. I'm hear to learn and share what I can and enjoy any info offered up even if there is some debate. I think you outta re-post the vid and we can continue the discussion and in the end each individual can take away whatever he feels is valid or not valid.....jmo

I was only trying to contribute and not meant to upset any one but was just stating the with the iron that far away from the coin and using a small coin it was basically no test at all and should have maybe said try moving the coin and iron closer together. A true test would be with the iron and coin in the same hole. then if you pick up the coin you are well on your way

Yeah, a discussion is exactly what we're having. An open discussion on a subject should involve a participation of comments; critiques, acknowledgements, questions, etc. Otherwise its not a discussion but a lecture, a lecture based on one point of view

In this case the discussion was based on a proposal and demonstration of detector settings for a specific target scenario which some felt is invalid.
This here discussion is nothing compared to an Engineering Design Review meeting which is a form of a discussion ...... now those are really brutal discussions!

Speaking for myself, i also APPRECIATED this thread as it brought the topic out in the light for a discussion.
