Yesterday we hunted a federal camp along the Wolf River here in north Mississippi. I had a wonderfun day, about 30 drops, half dozen buttons and a few of those what the heck is it. I'm the guy with the Tejon. I got in trouble for bashing another brand, so I won't mention the name of the detector or that it comes with wireless headphones, has this real pretty color display, and the arm cuff is cheap, and that it cost 1700 bucks. But when it was all said and done and we all made it back to the truck, thats when the ribbing started. My $1700 friend found the prettiest dropped bullet I think I've ever seen. It was the only bullet he found. A $1700 machine with a relic mode and all the adustments in the world should be able to find more than one drop bullet. Several times yesterday I yelled over and said, hey I have a bullet here. When he ran his $1700 machine over it, it was the same line I've heard for the last two weeks,,,,,,,I don't hear anything,,,are you sure theres a bullet there. Well I dig the hole and out comes a bullet. Now this is all coming from a guy who knows the in's and out's of a metal detector,,,,,,,he's no rookie. He called at zero dark this morning like he does every morning. I think he's seeing the light, he asked for the guys name in Corinth who sells Tesero's. There is not a machine that goes as deep as this Tejon. Theres not a machine that pinpoints as well. It has the best double d pinpoint coil out there,,,,,I've seen what my buddy's 10 inch double d will do when it comes to pinpointing. If you like digging holes the size of trash can lids buy that $1700 machine. Deep down inside, I'm hoping he sticks to that $1700 gimmick,,,,I don't want the competition.....
