53Silver video on the Outlaw

As always his videos are top notch but have a question. He showed the Outlaws ability to disc out a dime and still hit a quarter. I have a newly acquired Tejon and while I was doing some air test trying to set the disc knobs correctly I discovered that the Tejon would also disc out a dime and not a quarter. I thought that I like this as I don't mind digging clad quarters much but for the most part can pass on dimes.
Now the hitch--- it wont disc out a buried dime. Does anyone know if that is the case with the Outlaw or maybe the Cibalo.

Okay, I'll bite. I believe the answer to your question is mass. General rule of thumb - more discrimination; less depth, or put another way, it is less sensitive to smaller objects. Max out your discrimination and you won't see any coins but you will still pick up that garbage can lid at 5 feet.

When air testing my Vaquero, I can max out the discrimination and still hit clad dimes and quarters.
