4X 6 Coil For Old Home Sights

Since it didn't overload at RX 15 with no boost it's good. I don't think adjusting will do much. Boost and RX8 is probably it. In trash I can't see using boost. You actually want a lower RX to reduce coil edge effect and decrease the coil footprint.

As I remember the most the 5.3 could get with boost was 10. I don't know about the 4x6. Tx boost runs approximately 30v (3x normal) uses battery time and gains about 1" depth. It wasn't intended for trash hunting.

understood thank you. looking forward to hunting some nasty old spots ,about how low would you reccomend for trash laden -93 soil

A good starting point would be to go with the RX setting in the Hi Trash program. That would be Rx 6.
