Here is my 3 day totals of silver. Found one more today a 1945 merc. The dime today was 1 inch down. 4 were found 20 ft around a big tree.

Thanks,

The city just bought a home built about 1910 and are going to tear it down next week. I have permission to hunt before it is demolished. Might go this evening let you all know if I find anything good. I do not think it has been hunted because the last owner would not let anybody.

Went back to the same site I found the other 6 silver and found a 1936 quarter. never thought I could find 7 silver coins. in one yard This one was also found around the same tree I found 6 of th e 7 silver coins. I also found 2 1910 wheats in the same hole. Was using my 6x10 dd. Ordered a 12x10 sef and will return to try to pull some final coins out.

Nice finds. Always fun to find silvers.

Found 3 mre merc dimes since then. 10 total silvers for dthe year. have found over 400 coins for the year

Howdy nalc472--

That is one good yard you are hunting! The way you are pulling the silver out, I hope that you have the chance to hunt the back yard too. There is probably a nice silver half waiting for you, maybe some jewelery too. By the way, have you checked for mintmarks? The 1936-D Washington is a better date -even in circulated condition. Also, the 1945-s has 2 varieties: the regular size mintmark and what is called the "Micro S" . It's a smaller S and worth more. Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!

This yard ended amazing. I found 7 silver (4 quarters, 3 merc), 2 english one cents 1927 and 1937, Civil war navy button, case tractor 1900 watch
fob, 5 cent trade token, many wheat, and my buddy found a 1854 half dime in same yard. if every yard was like this we would all be rich.
