This is a summary of all my best finds made in 2021.
All finds were made with my Minelab E-Trac. Sites detected were all public except 2 house permissions and 2 old private permission school sites.
Coils used were 10x12 SEF, 12x15 SEF and NEL Storm 13x14.
States detected this year were North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. It is the 2nd year in a row I have not made it back to Canada. Maybe next year.
This great hobby has so many facets to it with the research gratification, thrill and challenges of the hunt, tons of exercise and having something to display for all the effort.
Again, I want to thank everyone who viewed and commented on my finds throughout the year. I really appreciate it.

COINS
I finished the year with 301 silver coins. 2021 was by far my best big silver year ever.
Below is the breakdown of my coin finds.
1 Silver Dollar (1892 Carson City Mint). My first ever CC minted coin.
17 Silver Halves (2 Barber, 10 Walkers, 2 Franklin, 1 90% silver Kennedy, 2 40% silver Kennedy). This year I pulled my oldest half dollar ever of 1892. I also pulled my first 90% Kennedy Half (1964). ** Also not pictured are 7 newer Clad Half dollars I found this year.
47 Silver Quarters (7 Barber, 8 Standing Liberty). I pulled a 1923s Standing Liberty Quarter this year which is a key date coin.
206 Silver Dimes (4 Seated Liberty, 19 Barber)
30 Silver War Nickels (1942-1945)
31 Indian Head pennies (1881 oldest)
26 V Nickels (1884 oldest)
70 Buffalo Nickels (a handful being very good years/mint marks with some good value)
** Not displayed are numerous non silver Jefferson nickels from 1939-1959 which I keep.
I also pulled many wheat pennies I did not count or display (probably between 700-800)
JEWELRY
I pulled 4 gold (also numerous gold-plated pieces) and 24 Silver jewelry Items and numerous brass jewelry items.
I included closeup pictures of a few of my favorite jewelry finds for 2021 along with all jewelry items with the gold and silver items being toward the front.
The 2 gold class rings were memorable finds.
BADGES AND FOBS
Some of my favorites from this category are the 1921 Lead Train Cracker Jack toy, The 1939 Minnesota Chauffeur Badge (my 2nd MN Chauffeur badge),
The 1949 Junior G Man Toy Badge (My first complete one) and the early 1900s 4th of July Celebration badge (from MN)
RELICS
The Ford Model T hubcap was my first model T hub cap. I have been wanting to find one for a few years as my Dad owns a 1925 Model T ford.
Another neat find is the 1890s lead advertising printing plate for an old fountain pen.
BUTTONS
The very old copper tombac flat button is very uncommon for this area so I was happy to find that one this year.
Also, the WW II Infantry button (Crossed Rifles) was my first button of that type.
