2 x Ace 250's

My wife got me a 250 for x-mas. She has said that she would like to go metal detecting, several different times. I'm wondering, if I get one for her, if they will interfere with each other if we're close together detecting? Thanks for your help.

Id say yes, they would. Get a 1350 to complement your 250 and use the adjustable freq feature; then you could hunt together.

They absolutely do! About 1/3 of the members of our club have Ace 250s and they can't get within 5-10 feet of each other without getting lots of false signals. I know the GTI 2500 has multiple frequencies to eliminate crosstalk - don't know about the other models.

There is one other kind of interference you need to take into consideration....when your sole mate is out detecting with yah just wait till she starts ribbing yah over her finding all the goodies.....my wife does. Hint if you have the earphones on you can drown out the interference...ha ha.
