2 Wheats and a handful of clad

I got my ace 250 two weeks ago on the 18th on ebay. I didn't get a manual with it but I am having a ball! There are three parks in this town that go back to the early 1900s.The county fair is going on right now,the 160th. I look forward to hunting it. I have done some research on half a dozen old schools within 30 miles from here. I have also found that this county has many ghost towns.I have only found clad so far except for two wheats a total of 67 coins. I have been using the sniper coil because I am not great at pinpointing with the stock coil yet. I plan on getting the garrett pro pinpointer here in the near future. I have about 14 hours with the ace at the moment and have not gotten serious about finding the good stuff yet.I'm trying to get used to the ace. Any suggestions on using the sniper coil? any advice at all on using the ace 250 would be great. It has been pretty dry here lately, the ground is getting very hard.I also found out that there was an amusement park not far from here.It was built in 1925 and closed when the stockmarket crashed.I have found the general location and it seems to be partly residential now. If I can get permission to search that area I'll be clam happy! I might just need to find a hunting partner. Well, luck in the hunt to all.

Welcome to the wonderful world of dirt fishin'! You can download a copy of the manual at Garretts web site.
