1937 Orphan Annie Decoder Badge / Old Canadian Quarter / Old Cigar Token / Half

Finds are from a few hunts over the past 2 weeks. All finds were made at public sites.
The decoder badge is a 1937 Radio Orphan Annie Secret Society Decoder Badge. I found it in 2 pieces with the decoder wheel
separated from the badge part. The badge part was bent and I straightened that.
The 1890 Canadian quarter was a big surprise. The 1959 half and the old quarter were found < 1 hour from home at the same site. The half was about a foot deep.
The Broadway Cigar Store token was found very close to home at an old school. I haven't found a listing for it yet.
There is a street in Fargo named "Broadway" so I am thinking the store was on that street.
Another curious piece I found deep was that big piece of lead. It appears to be cut from a larger ball. Wishful thinking is from a lead cannonball but I am not sure.
One of the Buffalo nickels is a good year for value (1918d).

Coin Finds
1959 Franklin Half Dollar
1890 (Canadian),1941,1964 Quarters
7 Mercury dimes are back to 1917
1914,1918d, 2 war nickels, few Jefferson nickels from the 40s and 50s.
1879 Indian head penny
Not pictured are 27 wheat pennies back to 1910.

Non Coin Finds
1937 Radio Orphan Annie Secret Society Decoder Badge
1905 Western Manitoba Ag Fair Medal
Early 1900s "German Heater" advertising token
Religious Cross
Lead Piece
Real old spoon handle
Gold Plated Music Button
Old buckle
Miniature Jackknife

Awesome hunts Dave! That's a ton of silver! Congrats on the deep Franklin and I LOVE that 1890 Canadian quarter. The Annie decoder turned out spectacular after cleaning. As for that lead piece, I am pretty sure that is the back of a horse's bridle rosette. They were usually brass and then lead filled. Great variety of finds as always Dave. PS I should have a new video out Thursday. ATB Greg

Another great variety of awesome finds Dave! The old coins are always nice to find but I really enjoy the different old tokens, medals & fobs.

Those are some nice finds all around. I'll bet you must have felt a little like Ralphie in A Christmas Story when you dig the Little Orphan Annie Decoder pin..... "What, A crummy commercial?" . Lol Great finds on all the others too. Nice variety of finds and saves.

Thanks Greg.
I found the quarter first so I really thought the deeper half would be older but I will never complain about a silver half.
Makes sense about the rosette.

Thanks for the comments. My wife and I actually had to watch that part of the movie. Your right! it was an Orphan Annie Decoder sponsored by Ovaltine. Funny.

Nicely done Dave! I got a 37 decoder a few years back myself. This assortment of finds is incredible, congrats.

Nice job on the silver and relics, Orphan Annie is excellent condition and the end of the spectrum the German oil stove token didn't fare so well. Congrats !!
