1918 Walking Liberty

We were given two weeks to detect the neighborhood, and it did have many coins. I found 5 silver dimes an three silver quarters. The half I found in a lot on the edge of the neighborhood. In two weeks they begin tearing down the old duplex houses to make room for a grocery store.

That is an absolutely great find. You may not realize it but there are people who have been detecting for many years that have never dug a walking liberty half. I got my first walker last year after 3 years of detecting. Since then I have dug a barber half, another walker, several Kennedy's and a Franklin half. I feel blessed to have found so many. All my halves were found with the AT PRO.
