I agree. I see that often myself. I find old nickels of all varieties and not much silver in parks.I love getting IHPs as it verifies an older gathering spot. In the older city park I hit last fall I dug three IHPs and a ‘17 Merc and then nothing. I’m convinced cherry pickers hit this place and simply walked over penny and nickel hits.
Im not giving up tho, some old pennies worth as much as some silver…….
