1896 O Barber Quarter

Rooster told me about a sidewalk tear out so I checked it out. About 30 feet torn out so far. I found two silver quarters 1896 and 1953, one clad quarter 1990 a 1988 nickel two memorials 1976 and 1969 and two wheat pennies 1950 and 1948. Very nice hunt !! Old sidewalk tear outs are very nice places to hunt.

I'm always looking for any construction that might get some old silver uncovered, this is a great example of what you can find.

Anything a generation before the current coins is special. Proves people dropped stuff for ages.....
