1888 Seated with rust on it & ILL chauffeur lic 1938

Derrelld, hows it goin bud? I dug up about 6 inches of crusty rusty orangish rubish and thought I had a target of iron but when I rechecked the hole I had a much better target pitch and just dug mabey another inch or so more...dumped out the crud spread it out and ran the coil over one more time. It was hard to see being such a dirty coin but you know how you get used to seeing different shapes in the soil? thats how I found it. The site is kind of an old dump and lots of old iron scrap and broken bottles are mixed in the dirt. In this site I tend to just dig anything up that remotly resembles a target. I dont have to be carful with the diggin here so I dont even try to be selective about what I dig...Its just easyer to dig a big scoop and see what came out. Its fun. Many a junker comes up but hey...I dont think anybody else would of found that coin unless there a shovelhead like me. he he... Best of luck to you sure like your Pics and posts.:super:
