14K Gold Marquise Diamond Ring I snagged with my E-Trac

Wow what a find.
Yep Etrac is a good machine.
Off the wall question, is the Joey coil lighter to swing than the stock coil?
I've heard the joey coil can get the same depth as the stock coil, true or false.

and THAT is the reason I've started digging all of the repeatable tones I get, even when I suspect they are junk. Now it is my turn to get a little gold!

I do the pro coil, 10 x 12 SEF coil, Sunray X-12, Detech Ultimate...etc....but I don't expect to...just as I don't with any of my other small or midsized coils I use.

I would say the deepest coins I have found here in IL would be 8" or so.

I will also note that I have found a silver dime on edge at the 8" depth level with it.

It is a GREAT little coil and the unique sized footprint covers a lot of ground while still separating incredibly well.

If you are considering buying one....don't hesitate.

Wow, that is a nice piece of gold.
I believe the numbers mentioned are about average. I've yet to find a ring that goes to 12-02, but 12 -04 to 12-15 is average for the gold rings I've found.
Great find. I still think that joey coil might just be more sensitivity to gold than the 6" Excelerator coil is?

Nice find Bryce!
