12 Silver, 1 Indian and 33 Wheats

Awesome hunt:clapping: Sometimes you just get in the zone and have one of those days. My grandmother died July 15th and that was a day I found twelve silvers and 2 two centers. My best day ever and I cant help but wonder if she had anything to do with it. HH
 
I wonder if it is the dry ground as of late I have also dug a few silvers the sound in the lower copper tone? They didn't have that textbook silver warble that the minlab Etac/Explorer have.
 
I think you are right on the dry ground changing the tone of silver. When I got my first series Explorer, I was never fooled on the sweet silver sound. I could tell a Wheat from a Memorial and never missed on silver.

Speak of sound....... how are you running your Variability? I have mine at 26 or 27. To me, 30 makes the wheats and copper memorials sound too much like silver. At the setting I use, I'm almost always right when I hear silver.
