There is 12" coil for V3i on e-b.It is in Kharkov Ukraine I think they make them over there. Has anyone bought or used that coil ? If so woudl you coment please. Thanks

It always bothers me when a manufacture doesn't get someone to write their ad using proper English. I don't think I would buy a coil from overseas but that is me. I couldn't go through the problems if the coil was bad. I also don't want to be a ginny pig. For $205 and $25 for shipping it better really be an improvement.

The coil has a diameter of 12 inches, weight 770 grams. The 10x12 is a heavy coil at 580 grams.,

The coil operates at three frequencies.
Maximum depth of a large coin ~ 50cm in the ground
% Signal loss (Probe-Signal) 2,5 kHz; 7,5 kHz - 10%
22,5 kHz - 15% Good numbers if they could be believed. It doesn't mean it will be deep.

I don't believe depth claims in this case 50 cm (19in) it doesn't even claim the target is coin size. I can hit a barrel at 3 ft with my 10" coil. It could be super but buyer beware.

White's 300 LTD 12" coil is what i would recommend. But thats just my opinion.. It does the job for me
Plus if I have any trouble with it(very doubtful) White's is just a call away and will handle it promptly as they have always done....
Good luck with your choice...:detecting:

And if you're buying off e-b then you can pick up a whites Super 12" coil for a lot less than $205 plus shipping
