1.2 version on V3......................

How are they working ?? What did the 1.3 revision actually do for the V3..and are there more revisions going to be made...

IS this a critical revision for proper operation ??

I'm just about to get a 1.2 version I think.....Or at least negotiations are going on..LOL

I didn't know that any ver.1.2 were released to the public, but anyway, early versions can be upgraded to the latest 1.3 for just the shipping to Sweet Home. If you are not going to use the WHP, you don't even have to do that, but wait until the snow is flying. The 1.3 with WHP is not critical and many are using it as is, just a little odd audio from time to time.

Don't get me wrong Elton, I'm not doubting your word, I just never heard of ver.1.2 being shipped. The ones that have gone through my hands went from 1.1 to 1.3 overnight.

Mine is at 1.1 and I really don't have any issues with the sound in the WHP. May send it in when the weather is bad...by then there may be something else that has a rev.

you guys are lucky over here in Scotland i live 30 miles from whites UK in Inverness , and they say that they have heard nothing about upgrades officially or how they would carry them out and the headphone fix would be a blessing , one other gripe is that over here is a big market for whites in the UK . and ground conditions totally different to the USA could they not have maybe done some field trials over here , would have been an advantage in the advertising campaign . as many detectorists i know say they will wait till there is some UK based programs on the go before they will consider buying a v3 or perhaps buy a minelab with proven uk programs available.
