    MoneyMover - I was is in the same frame of mind as you...I didn't want the Prizm III, I talk with my local dealer and made a nice deal.... Just bought the V3 yesterday, took it out for a 30 min spin in the yard....found a nickel, a penny and a tab. The machine is really nice...lot to learn.

    :minelab:Excal II did it again!

    I had my battery charging for 15 hrs, took the Excal out on Sat. It worked fine for about the first hour, then it started acting up and bouncing all over the place. It wouldn't keep a threshold. I even tried turning the sens to 1 as well as Auto. Took a 45 min break, tried another location...

    Larry - My apologies, I didn't realize the etiquette, I am a newbie. However I am leaning toward the V3, as I really liked my brothers DFX. Can some of the members share their experiences with the V3 on the beaches?

    Excal Died!

    Took my Excal out for a hunt on Sunday at the Jersey Shore...here's a pic of my finds. And...right after I found the Skull and Crossbones, my Excal died! No Joke! It wouldn't keep a threshold, and it was bouncing all over the place. Hopefully it was just a dying battery, I put it on for a long...
