Official Red Book of US Coin Values

I wonder what difference would be between 2024 and say, 2014 or 2004? Do coin values truly appreciate?

Went back to the ball field.

You done good! Do you have a favorite section/part of a ball field. Baseball, I assume. I tended to prefer or find more on the left field side, shortstop, etc.

Brief update to my friends here.

Nothing like good news. Hang tough.

So not all 64s are equal

Interesting...but, I'm from Texas. WHAT THE HECK IS IT???

What is the best beep and dig machine(s) you have ever owned or still owned?

Among the 4 detectors I owned, incl. an Etrac...the machine with the fewest errors (indicate one thing, find another) was a Minelab Vanquish 440. Very lite, very simple...surprisingly accurate.

Recovered some gold rings and pendants...but never found a gold chain in 11 years. Can't hunt anymore (knees) and have given my equip. to a nephew. Congrats to you!!!

Got a Question for all those old timers out there like me???

    1. Location - 50% (Old site + no/little prior competitors) 2. Luck - 50% (Direction/path I choose to detect)

    Garrett 400 vs. AT PRO

Owned and have used both. My choice = 400. Reasons = simplicity, lt. weight, recovery speed and pin pointing accuracy.

Got a Question for all those old timers out there like me???

Location - 90% Experience + Detector (maybe) - 10% Give me an old (pre-clad), high traffic, undetected site. The rest is an automatic given.

    Advice

Guessing it's made of copper and/or bronze. Cross has "some" (?) semblance of Knights Templar based on the end of each spoke. Highly unlikely...but IF "KT", then could be as old as late 13th or early 14th century. Keep in mind...this just my "guess" with no basis in fact.

Nice silver ring next to iron crap.

Good job...nice find. Shows the rest of us, we should trust our detectors more.

    Unbelievable surface find ancient!

Awesome find! When I was about 10, deer hunting with my dad (central TX, hill country) and his friends, someone in the group found a similar spear point. Since it wasn't an arrowhead...no one wanted it, and it was left on the porch of the hunting cabin. Don't know whatever happened to it...

    Help me understand why...

Unfortunately, I can't help you...BUT, THANKS FOR THE WARNING!
