    New to me V3

Controls a little different than my GT. I turn my disc and notch all the way left to 0. I'd test that on coins and jewelry. It's appears different as I said. Run it wide open. Variable tone. Sens as high as you can go or auto. Put a rusty nail down. Notice the null. Then put a silver coin down...

    White's Spectra V3i is a 'Legend'

May I ask what the VDI's were ? I'm looking for my wife's cross. About 1 and 1/4 " talk. Made of solid 18k 3/32" wire. Teardrop shaped limbs on the cross. Any help finding that would be greatly appreciated.

    Any solar observers on here?

Tab-Nabit Be careful viewing the sun thru cheap telescopes. Make certain the primary mirror has a sun filter. I prefer the in glass ones. Not a film. I've seen some where the scope let the full sun into the scope. And using filter in or on the eyepiece. The eyepiece gets extremely hot...

    Any solar observers on here?

Love astronomy. Haven't been out in years because of injuries. I picked up a new HEQ-6 Pro for my larger scopes a couple years ago. Just to heavy for my old tracker to stay stable. Have yet to even power it up. I always enjoyed the moon pushing 400+ power. So many unusual objects at the...

    Metal Detecting Tools

Those curved tools are for working around tree roots. Where some of the last good targets are around here. The goodies seem to be vanishing.
