NOKTA MAKRO (LEGEND) GETTING SUED - PATENT INFRINGEMENT

Well all i can say is if the counterfeit minelabs are as good as the phone chargers that come out of china and sold on the bay of thieves, then don't expect them to last long.

NOKTA MAKRO (LEGEND) GETTING SUED - PATENT INFRINGEMENT

I would bet my money that minelab "win". They can't need the money though surely!

Do any of you all own both a legend and equinox?

Why would they bother for 1 khz difference, Manufacturers add these little extra things because it will help get more sales . Metal detector buyers and users are very gullible to paying money out for extra features and fancy names . 1khz will make no difference worth even talking about when it...

Equinox 600 and 800 on sale everywhere!

The new 700 's and 900 's will be a better build quality for sure. I doubt they will find more than an 600 or 800 though. Always plenty of buyers for new models though as usual. I don't like that red backlight though , that i had on my vanquish. The market is saturated now with metal detectors.

Do any of you all own both a legend and equinox?

One day some one will come out with something different hopefully, this multi frequency thing has been here 20 years now. The new noxe's 700 and 900 will be just more bells and whistles mostly. I owned a a nox 800 the depth same as a LEGEND in my opinion. Audio was much better on nox . Minelabs...

Manticore presale going for 2k online

I have a CTX and have owned a Nox 800 for 8 months before selling it. My honest opinion is the NOX was better all round. The CTX is way too heavy. Nox has slightly better depth than ctx on many targets. done the tests and proved it.

Manticore presale going for 2k online

Forget CTX it's OLD tech. Heavy and expensive , explorer find just as much

Detectors that have stood the test of time.

I agree the explorer's are still worth using. Most Pro's will be holding onto them. Can be bought fairly cheaply too these days. Can suffer from missed targets due to masking though ,

Another drastic price reduction for the Nokta Legend.

I know a pro detector user here in the UK hit a patch of pasture using a GPX 5000 Minelab and started pulling out roman broaches from 18 inches. The VLF'S would not even give any response at all to the 18 inch deep treasures. The Deeper a metal detector goes the more chance of treasure. Digging...

    Minelab Manticore

I will be waiting for the famous or maybe we could call him infamous calabash digger on you tube to evaluate it. He will be the first one to post tests of the manticore for sure. The depth tests he does don't convince me too much of anything though with his amazing depths that he gets in his...

Legend headphones frozen , green light on all the time

The Build quality of the Legend Head Phones i will rate as a 4 out of ten for overall strength , they are home audio headphones , not made for out door rough conditions, not strong at all, audio quality gets a definite 9 out of ten. Reliability is also sadly a low score at 3 out of 10 mostly...

Legend headphones frozen , green light on all the time

Pretty much a waste of time fixing them , the switch quality is very poor. Just a matter of months before the switch fails again. I have binned the junkers.

Legend headphones frozen , green light on all the time

No they don't replace. They repair them.

Legend headphones frozen , green light on all the time

The headphones have been tested by service centre and have been found to have a faulty switch , this is now a common fault with these head phones they inform me. . Part of the switch comes off inside the head phones. absolute rubbish idea putting a mechanical switch on head phones. The switch...

Another drastic price reduction for the Nokta Legend.

The fact is it don't matter how much better a detector unmasks better than others , i know i will be unmasking the same old junkers as before. I am sure having a decent site with Ancient Gold and Silver buried underground will beat any detector no matter how much it costs. I also think detector...

    New Legend

i have done tests on buried coins and yes 4 KHZ will hit on coins that all of the other multi frequencies and single frequencies would not even give a whisper on. It gives about 1 inch or more "extra " depth on coins.

    Minelab Manticore

It will probably be a very good unmasker in the trash. Raw depth we will be similar to the nox probably. possibly a tad deeper but we will have to wait and see. There is a big waiting list i know that.

Equinox with sensativity at 10 out of 25 max. WOW!

Increasing sensitivity to max only gives marginal depth improvement over say a moderate level of sensitivity. You can miss some targets with it set too high. Most have it maxxed out though .
