    Went to one of my permissions today and found A Matron head large cent and what i believe is a half penny judging by size.A few wheats and modern nickles.quite the variety lol.

    If i am coin shooting in a park i dig nickle range and then 87 and up and i never dig bottlecaps.they tend to fall from 80-86 from what i’ve seen.

    I think the d2 id is up there with the best.When i only have a short time to hunt at say a school field,I rely on the numbers and very rarely dig trash.If i’m at an old homesite i dig pretty much everything so id isn’t that important

    There’s another school near me that i started doing and found a large cent in about 15 minutes of detecting but then the cops showed up.The officer was cool and said he detects too but i would have to leave since one of the neighbors called it in.he couldn’t believe i found the large cent...
