    Got a new date today

Showed Pam the Field of Dreams Saturday, didn't hunt. Asked her to go out there today, she declined but allowed me to go. :cheekkiss: Down the row at the second triangle sign, south to north about mid way and at only three inches I rescued another large cent. This time I can see a...

    Field of Dreams

Went out this morning to the field and competed with three others for the goodies. We found it all plowed up bringing a few more coins to the surface to be found. I rescued a dateless large cent. The others will post their treasure finds.

    a visit down south

Me and Pam went down to Beardstown for their first club hunt. So far they have 15 members and lots of friendship. We hauled home a 1922 Peace Dollar, $33.82 in clad, one wheat cent, Treasure Wise Detector Bag, Garrett Headphones and a Garrett Camo Treasure Pouch. We had lots of fun, newspaper...

    A great time

If you missed the two day hunt, you missed big time. As a highlight two Gold Rings, around 10 silver coins, many Wheat Cents, a few Indian Cents with the oldest 1885, and a hammered coin from the 1640's was rescued. No, there is no typo, it was 1640's. All had a great time eating, camping and...

    Was out too

    From the hunt

We had a very good hunt. The blue key token for a chest of silver coins was buried next to a nest of bees. A few people were stung too after the person recovered the key and ran. Bragging rights??? I guess I pulled the most with a value of $281.64 and went home. Nobody went home without...

    also ran

Went to Glen Oak Park after work tonight. HOT HOT HOT and dripping hot. Recovered a hand made blanket that some little old Lady crocheted/knitted but the recipient didn't value it. Also rescued a French One Franc silver 1895, size of a quarter and only one inch depth. Still some more silver to...

    At the hill

Went to the bullet hill after work today. Have you noticed that when kids bike a route through the area they wear the dirt down. We are finding good items at depth ergo when dirt is eroded by bikes the deep items are closer to the surface. With this in mind I crossed the sidewalk at the hill...

    Belted

Went out looking for Indian Cents and bullets. The hill side is steep but I had my goat shoes on. I didn't find a single coin or bullet. All I was able to scrape up was a belt buckle from eight inches depth. Look familiar? :yikes:

    Hill Hunting

I see you took me up on the location . Right where I told all the hunters last time where I found my last three ringer and just where you dug up all the goodies. Way to go. It must have really knocked your socks off because I saw three socks laying on the hill. I liked how you refilled...

    ODDS?

Went to my 40th High School Reunion this weekend. Took a tour of the School and noted all the computer type classes added to the curriculum. While checking out the remodelled cafeteria I picked up a nickel from the floor, 1944-D. I think it would take a super computer to figure the odds on that...
