    The oval coil has coil and battery about 20 inches apart ,to replicate that for a waterproof d2 coil may not be possible

    I expect they can’t make up their mind on the location of the battery ,it has to be waterproof now ,so it’s back into the coil . Meanwhile their competitors are surging ahead with new products on all fronts
