    I some time use the mxt for nugget shooting, has anyone tried some of the after market coils for the mxt, specifically the pricey large coils. How do they handle high mineral ground and pinpoint ? Is the depth any better than a ML in medium soil ?

    anybody make general sound chart

    Would like to know if any one had come up with a general sound chart for the infini, such as when land hunting for coins with the 10 x 14 using 0 disc then target id turning the disc and comparing response hi lo - lo hi, is this constant on the same type of coin ?

    Detector comparison is a valuable tool for many of us detectorist that own multi line brands. Try to discern what setting in what ground and proper target id is hard enough, a simple comp can go a long way to shorten endless forum searches . No brand bashing please.

    GPX 5000

    Tried the GPX 5000 on high mineral CA ground, with the stock DD ,very quiet and stable, no gold yet. I found plenty of small caliber bullets previously detected with my TDI. Depth on some bullets was 22in, this in ground that stacked one inch of that black stuff on my magnet pick. For you...

    How close to an MXT can a V3 get?
