1.2V vs 1.5V batteries for a Whites MXT PRO

Oh my........ I have about 30 planes from micro to 1/4 scale. Here are a few. I'm active on rcgroups.com

1.2V vs 1.5V batteries for a Whites MXT PRO

You will believe in what you want to vito, doesn't matter to me. My OP was to skyfish anyway. I did not want him to be misled with misinformation. I know my Li-po's, I have close to $2000 in them for my RC planes and another $600 in the charger/maintainer.

1.2V vs 1.5V batteries for a Whites MXT PRO

You don't have to be sorry for disagreeing with me Vito. It doesn't make you right though :-) All Li-po batteries are 3.7 V per cell because of the chemical composition, no ifs ands or buts that I know of. You get the 1.5 V output because of a built-in voltage regulator in each battery. A...

1.2V vs 1.5V batteries for a Whites MXT PRO

Skyfish....... to the best of my knowledge, I don't think there is such a thing as a 1.5V Lithium battery. All Li batteries I know of are 3.7 volts. 3 of them works well for 12 V devices if you have a compatible holder. 1.2 V rechargeables batteries commonly available are Ni-Mh or Nicd.

    Factory battery pack

If you don't want to solder, rechargeable NiMh are a great alternative. 8 AA and two 4 cell chargers are about $20. That is what I use in my backuo pack. No problems.

    Factory battery pack

If you can operate a soldering iron/gun, you can do it yourself for the cost of the batteries.

Interesting find for sure Steve. Nancy is feeling better every day now and getting some strength back. We are just about ready to go test our hunting skills after being AWAL from the detecting community for the last few years. Larry

    White's Electronics Forum?

Compared to the TM 808 box detector, the V3i is a VAST improvement for raw gold detecting but a gold detector is much better yet. The 808 is made for detecting large objects and you want to hunt for small low conductivity objects. There is no substitute for using the right tool for the right job.

    Bullets and Silver

Use your hunting time as training time and you will quickly determine that training never stops, you are always learning something new. I suggest digging everything at first and you will quickly learn that most trash sounds :trashy: and good targets sound mostly good. As you gain more...

    New hunting partner

Sure sorry about the passing of Chilli Mac, especially on Christmas eve. Thanks for the Kudos everybody. The youngster has brought new life back to Major, a 5 y.o. They have bonded and play until they can't stand up anymore. Even then, they play on their backs until they fall asleep. Not a...

    New hunting partner

A new addition to our family, Zach, a two year old Boxer. Major was getting pretty down with the passing of Maggie and he needed a new playmate. (Well....... us too) Zach loves the outdoors and gets so excited when we go on our camping/metal detecting trips. I guess I have posted one of these...

This is a sad time for the Peoria Area Treasure Hunters club (PATH)

Thanks Daryl for the update on the club. At least we know the club is alive but not well. I have heard from other members that they are not happy with the direction the club has taken either but change happens and is inevitable. Take care and tell other members we said hi. Larry and Nancy

This is a sad time for the Peoria Area Treasure Hunters club (PATH)

We are so sorry, it is never easy to lose a loved one. We lost our second Boxer, Maggie last October and we have just rescued another youngster, Zach, who will be two this month. What a firecracker he is. The people we got him from were moving and could not take him with them. That is our 5...

This is a sad time for the Peoria Area Treasure Hunters club (PATH)

So good to hear from you Del, it's been quite a while. Nancy says hi to you and Patsy. I think your opinion carries a lot of weight and truth around here. Maybe this year we can get things started up again.

This is a sad time for the Peoria Area Treasure Hunters club (PATH)

Four people have stated they want to join PATH in a little over a month and no one has even answered the easiest of questions. This club used to have over 50 members with four to five thousand dollar club hunts, three fun hunts a year with prizes, monthly meetings with awards and prizes and a...

    VX3 screen replacement

From the picture, it looks like it is just the screen cover that is scratched. If so, the cover is pealed off and the new one put back on. It is just a stick on piece of plastic. If it is the screen you want to replace, it is just a little bit harder. You have to open up the display pod and I...
