    Nice Eagle general service Button, a couple flat buttons and 2 toe taps. The open fretwork lid is interesting. The ball I thought was a clay marble turned out to be a Dung beetle {no insects were harmed during this hunt}

    Here’s the scoop:

    The black tarnish will come off with jeweler acid cleaner, but it leaves a pinkish film. Buffing is what I do. The black tar even stain gold rings.

    This issue has been discussed in detail. Ralph {sunray owner} and I discussed the concept many years ago, with proprietary chipped coils and multi frequency the concept was a no go.
