Adding a Simplex to my detecting tools

I can never read Monte's posts as the words and background are almost the same color and makes it impossible for me to read it.

Adding a Simplex to my detecting tools

Nel is coming out with some coils very soon . They will be much lighter. The 5x10 that nel makes is 12 oz the one nokta makes is 17oz also the superfly nel coil is 12x11 and is 14oz compared to almost 20oz for the stock 11" so I'm gonna wait and see if these come out soon. If not all in will...

Stuck inside. Nail tests, T2, G2 and Simplex

I always did better with the T2 in iron. Never cared for the G2. People love it but I never meshed with it. Try larger coils in your tests. Same tests just stock coils.

Is the simplex spanking these other machines in these tests?

I think you see why I have so much fun testing detectors lol. And why I have sold off a bunch. And stopped using some brands. Simplex spanked those G2 and one of my favorites the T2. Breaks my heart and makes me smile

    f75 vs equinox 800

The next is mostly an older version of the F-75. Same engineer built both. The f-75 is what whites would not allow done . To me the F-75 is like a classic car, less options etc but its what I remember having alot of fun using without a back seat. I also used the MXT and all models after since...

Oops I misread that sentence, these are in production. Tesoros and Whites are gone.

Recent years some Very good water machines have been discontinued, are their replacements much better ?

The xcal II is a good one. I believe it's BBS not PI. Garrett Sea Hunter II is a PI. I have a Tarsacci it's a mix and not fully waterproof, only to so many feet. It runs mixed domain technology.

    f75 vs equinox 800

Yes exactly why I may grab another one just to hang on to. That tall grass and ground cover brush the bp mode would work.

    f75 vs equinox 800

I could never hunt in bp mode. Slower mode and less separation. I tried all of the aftermarket coils. Ultimate coil and tornado helped alot for depth. The stock coil was awesome though. 22 brass at 8" . The engineer that designed whites MXT which I loved also designed the f-75. My opinion...

    f75 vs equinox 800

I've owned both. Still have the Nox 800. F-75 was my favorite for years but it's technology is old. F-75 swings great and very well balanced. I may pick up another F-75 to hold onto.

T2 with ultimate 13 vs Superfly in the garden

I've used the ultimate coil on several detectors and never had issues with emi. My favorite aftermarket coil was the tornado. Very stable and deep. Superfly looks like a great all around coil. I do love those stock coils on Fisher/Teknetics for depth, easy swinging, no emi .

Let’s look at this new product from NEL

Looks like a great coil. I used and loved the ultimate coils and the butterfly coils. Did very well with them.

    Help me choose a pinpointer.

Xp mi-6 is very nice, Garrett carrot is very nice too. I use both. Minelab profind 35 was decent too. I've used most of the rest and won't anymore. That huge nokta pulse dive is only ok, but gigantic.

    New 600 owner. First Minelab.

Yep you will love it . Stop by and we can hit a park if ya want .

New XP Deus means no site hunted out

I agree the Deus and orx are amazing. Alot of my best finds were with deus.

    MI-4 pinpointer sensitivity?

My last 2 mi-6 pinpointers were not as sensitive to small gold as my Garrett pro pointer AT's. And gpp did better on coins with both on Max settings.

Has anyone bought the xp deus back pack and find pouch

I agree. Pinpointer would be ok with holder attached to pouch I think. If in the woods then carry the shovel. Pouch is well made. So is the backpack.
