    New multi frequency machine

Agree. I was referring to the 6" coil on the nox 600. It will take a lot of strain and pain off your arms and shoulders. Simplex might be a little lighter but with the 11" seemed heavier to swing than the Nox with the 11" coil. I guess it's all is in your preference.

    New multi frequency machine

Can detect here in Nevada pretty much all year. Water detecting is hit and miss but usually fields and parks are not frozen.

Hopefully when introduced, the no name detector will have waterproof headsets available that can be submerged.. Lots of people would expect that feature but no mention of that was addressed in any video Dilek made. Bluetooth is useless with the detector submerged. Also when released, Makro/Nokta...

I know there are chip shortages around the world, but this detector delay has been going on for way too long.

    New multi frequency machine

Nox 600 is lighter than the simplex. Also Nox is a better all around machine and even lighter with the 6" minelab coil. Found most of the good stuff the last few years with the Non 600 and Minelab 6" coil, If your shoulder hurts or fatigues with a large coil you will like that combination. As...

Ready for the new no named smf waterproof detector from Makro/Nokta. What's taking so long?

    New multi frequency machine

Think Dilek already said that the 11" would be the main coil, with 1 or 2 possible smaller coils, in her last video.

    New multi frequency machine

Sorry, no. I would be guessing at this point. Hoping by Thanksgiving but probably around Christmas to New Year. Just based on Dileks' hedging. I'll need a new Equinox or new unnamed Makro SFM by then. Hope it's released sooner than later.

    Correct on both counts.

    Coiltek 10x5 DD coil

I like it. I seem to go for the minelab 6" for most tasks. Using the Coiltek for 10 days then swith back to the Minelab 6". They seem comparable with the Coiltek giving a little more depth and coverage. If you have the minelab 6" you should get most of the signals the Coiltek 10 x 6" gets, with...

    New multi frequency machine

I heard no mention of waterproof headphones. Will there only be bluetooth or will the new SMF machine have wired waterproof headphones? Wireless is useless if you do lake or ocean detecting. Unless Nokta has figured out a way to give equal depth that the wired waterproof headphones give...

Yes but when. Have they updated the release date.

Any news on the Nokta SMF machine? Been a while since any update.

    10x5 is being shipped

I like the 6' minelab coil too. Trying to see which is better for water hunting as well as field and park areas. So far they both stand up well. Each does a little better at certain things but over all like and use them both to make sure no targets are missed.

    10x5 is being shipped

I think that's a given. But it is a nice in between coil with decent depth and gives a little more coverage than 6". Also lighter and sleeker than the 11' coil.
