    9" for me too. But what I think is really great is having a choice. How many companies give you a choice for the stock coil. I don't like 11" coils so the choice was easy for me. I'm a little surprised so many people are choosing the 9. Are you paying attention Minelab and Nokta ?

    BTW, I used the Equinox until it leaked 1 day. For me, I couldn't learn the bottle cap sound. Because of that I dug them. (lots of them). Several hunters I know have the same problem.

    Jimmyzrt, I found found that to be the case with a several SMF's . Some are very quiet on bottle caps in the dry sand but they sound off more when you go over them in the water. This has been especially true with my CZ-21. But you learn the way they sound after a while. Hopefully...
