    Beautiful find. Could have even been lost by a hunter. I've fallen asleep next to a tree Many times. And Everytime I lost something. Start looking around tree's. And anyplace where a hunter may have taken an un expected nap. I harvested my best buck ever sleeping. 250lb+. Yeah we get em big here...

    Crush it to a powder. Pan it. If it moves easily in water it's pyrite. If it sticks to the bottom swishing the water. It's a heavy metal. Possibly gold. A little info.

    Looking good to me. Crush it and pan it. You'll know for sure. Don't look like pyrites. I found a piece similar but in white quartz near silver City. After looking closer I do see pyrites upper left.
